Absolute trash store. You can’t get down most aisle because they’re fully occupied with trash and boxes. Their selection has been getting worse every time I’m in there. I couldn’t even find embroidery floss yesterday and all the fabric is hideous and cartoonish. Can’t see this store staying open long with the way it’s been declining.

Birthday party packages are a big letdown! At first I thought it was a good deal but soon realized I could have saved money and taught myself the craft to just do at home. I booked the tie dye party 3 weeks in advance. I called to ask about the room size and setup. The party included 8 party guests. They said they only have chairs for those 8 kids and the adults have to stand. Thats was unfortunate but doable. The party was scheduled for 2 hours. The tie dye craft only lasted 20mins. If there’s not enough table and chairs to accommodate extra guest, having to pay for a 2 hour time block seems pointless since the craft was over so quickly. The party host from Michael’s was not helpful at all! She didn’t show techniques on how to rubber band the shirt or how to even do the tie dye! She didn’t have enough rubber bands for each kid (didn’t get more even though it’s literally in a craft store!) and decided to use some string. When wrapping up the craft, she asked if she could have one of my daughter’s cupcakes because she had been waiting for one all day. I was so taken aback I agreed. She then helped herself to the drinks I brought. I was shocked, as were the rest of my guest. After si

⚠️⚠️⚠️⛔️🚫⛔️🚫⛔️🚫 ZERO NOT ONE STAR !! Refusing to give a simple Military 5 or 10% discount, because i won't become a rewards member...FOR SHAME MICHEALS... i did become a rewards member once, only for the discount. I was PROMISED by the cashier I could un-enroll from membership rewards program after the transaction was completed. So i gave my email, paid for my stuff, and asked to end my rewards membership. The cashier says ..." oh sorry you have to do that online" So i tried, its not possible. So I called customer service. After 3 transfers that immediately disconnected me every time forcing me to call back, I finally got an experienced worker. She tells me, sorry it is not possible, you will need to open a new email account, and cancel the old account in order to stop the spam emails from the rewards program. So I had to cancel my email, get a new one, and go through all my online accounts to remove the old email and enter the new one. This screwed up my bank and insurance accounts, and caused massive stress, because my older smart phone was not compatible with their systems. So I had to use postal mail. This is my go to Michael's in the area! The staff is always friendly and informative when I ask them any questions and the stock of products is always filled. I enjoy crocheting (and so does my cats) and I got all my blue yarn from this spot! I also use my Cricut for card making as well and sublimation projects. Thanks for always being in stock with products and having great staff!
